That’s right, folks! I’m moving to Austin, Texas, this October!
It just seemed to be the thing to do. My lovely fiancee and I visited friends there a bit over a year ago and it just kind of struck us that Austin had everything we needed and was a bit more suited to us than Lincoln.
It’s scary, I know. We’re leaving behind family and friends and trekking off to the big city in a Penske truck with just a prayer and a desire to live somewhere more fulfilling.
But before I try my best to tackle the daunting Austin music scene, I’m playing one last farewell show at Mo Java to show my appreciation and make sure I say goodbye to everyone.

The Battle of the Bands is fast upon us! It all goes down on Sunday at the lovely Waiting Room in Omaha!
There’s still time to pick up advance ticekets for the discount price of $8 from me or at Mo Java.
Since the time I’m playing is still up in the air, everything’s kind of wait-and-see right now, although the gig starts at 4 pm. I’m told I’ll have an estimate of the time I’ll be playing at on Friday and I’ll let everyone know via e-mail or facebook or whatnot. On Sunday, I’ll know for sure what time I play and I’ll send out another e-mail with the exact time.
Also, since I’ve got so many adoring fans, it looks like I’ll have a really nice spot in the lineup! Later in the night means more people to hear me. Make sure to stick around to clap for me at the end!

Well, here’s my first post on this new-fangled wordpress thingy.
As many of you may know, I’ve got too many blogs to keep track of on the big, wide information superhighway. I’m hoping to use this one as a news page, a way to personalize keithshelley.net and keep all you guys connected and out of the dark.
I’ll post updates and things on here to give you all the heads up on what’s going on in Keith-ville, just so you don’t have to wander around the site all the time just to see what’s new (although I’d sure like it if you did 
)
The obvious things first: the new site is up and running! Yay! I’ve still got a bit of tooling around to do with the pictures page but you can check out the myspace page for some photos if you wish.
